Think When You Vote

I firmly agree with Robert S. Leigh's comment that it is of the utmost importance to exercise one's right to vote, but that is not enough. Voting alone does not ensure freedom. Mr. Leigh seems to forget that in the example he gave, the dictator (Hitler) was ELECTED. Voting does not ensure ANYTHING unless one makes an intelligent decision and refuses to cast their vote for the person that makes them feel nicer (or more important), or the person who is more popular or better looking or who's commercials are more inspiring. Voting is very important, but it is not enough. One must also learn to think.
