Riding Across The USA

Here's a photo of me riding across the USA on March, 10 1981.  That's my old World Sport.  I loved that bike.  I put 10,000 miles on it.   Notice the old fashioned click-click-click mechanical odometer attached to the front axle.

The giant map i'm riding across is in Hodges Gardens, Louisiana; this was taken during family weekend (car) trip. 

Notice that on the map i appear to be riding from Wisconsin to Washington.  Ten and a half years after this photo was taken i moved (via car, sadly) from Wisconsin to Washington.
