December Capitol HIll Tunnel update

Currently there are three TBM, Tunnel Boring Machines, digging 21 foot diameter holes through the hill i live on. Sound Transit has a page with the most current (generally monthly) project update.

The December data was released this week, so here are the locations of each machine that i calculated from that data.

 Brenda has finished the first tunnel to Convention Place is currently being disassembled and trucked back up the hill.

Balto is under the big curve in the pedestrian only section of Interlaken Park.

Togo is at E Galer St between and 17th Ave E.
